im sick and tired of
hearing people cry
sick and tired of seeing
children die
being killed with one blow
from the guns of our foe
as the blood drench the
soil that we toiled
and i ask you this

do you want to live in
a place like this
full of grief

so many
passive
they dont do nothing
inactive
we walk down the street
seeing people beg
askin for something that aint
too big
promises made always unmet
as we continue to wept

time to stand up
mend our land
